Fun To Be One!

Sam and I had an important event to attend this weekend in Fort Myers. Dad and Margaret's great-grandson Ashtian turned one! The Dr. Seuss-themed party invitation read:

Come join our son, as he turns one,
(I sure miss cuddling with babies!)

We'll party and play on his special day,
(Yes, there really was this huge bounce house for all the kids!)

With games and cake,

and goodies to take,

Don't be late! November 6th is the date!

Dogs and kids and parents, too,

Followed the balloons, the ones that were blue.

It really was a lot of fun,

And at the end of the day, little Ashtian was done!
