Travel tour guide Marian (a Slovakian man) drove us throughout Bratislava pointing out the castle, embassies, churches and new developments along the Danube.
In the old town we walked through St. Michael’s Gate, the last surviving tower of the city wall.
Slovakia produces some of the world’s best honey from an apiary in Košice - our paternal grandmother Elizabeth’s hometown.
